16 Come and hear, all you who fear God,
and I will tell what he has done for my soul.
17 I cried to him with my mouth,
and high praise was on my tongue.
18 If I had cherished iniquity in my heart,
the Lord would not have listened.
19 But truly God has listened;
he has attended to the voice of my prayer.
20 Blessed be God,
because he has not rejected my prayer
or removed his steadfast love from me!
Comment: Verse by verse – 16 David testifies to God’s goodness. 17 David approached God both with his needs and with high praise! 18 Being committed to sin closes God’s ears. 19 If we approach God with a repentant heart, He listens, as David proved. 20 Praise God, He heard and again showed His steadfast love. This is a fitting end to the whole of this Psalm, and very fitting for us to remember and practice!
Prayer:You ar good, O God and I praise You for Your Steadfast Love.
