Acts 15: 30-36…..Planning the next trip.

So when they were sent off, they went down to Antioch, and having gathered the congregation together, they delivered the letter. And when they had read it, they rejoiced because of its encouragement. And Judas and Silas, who were themselves prophets, encouraged and strengthened the brothers with many words. And after they had spent some time, they were sent off in peace by the brothers to those who had sent them. But Paul and Barnabas remained in Antioch, teaching and preaching the word of the Lord, with many others also.
And after some days Paul said to Barnabas, “Let us return and visit the brothers in every city where we proclaimed the word of the Lord, and see how they are.”

Comment: The letter is received. Those from Jerusalem, after a short visit, returned and those from Antioch got about the business of preaching and teaching. That meant establishing the young church and reaching out into the community. But not long afterwards the hearts and minds of Barnabas and Paul went out to the surrounding area and as expected they were concerned about the infant churches which they had established.

Prayer: There is even today much to be done to establish Your church throughout the world. Never allow us to fail to see the vision of Your will being done on earth as in heaven!
