Psalm 98: 1-9….Break forth into joyous song!

Introduction: Maybe this Psalm would be ideally printed out and nailed somewhere so that you were thinking along these lines every single day!

1 Oh sing to the LORD a new song,
for he has done marvelous things! – think of one marvellous thing that God has done for you.
His right hand and his holy arm
have worked salvation for him.
2 The LORD has made known his salvation;
he has revealed his righteousness in the sight of the nations. – Turn your eyes upon Jesus!
3 He has remembered his steadfast love and faithfulness
to the house of Israel.
All the ends of the earth have seen
the salvation of our God. – He allowed both Jew and Gentile  to lift Jesus high on the Cross that His salvation might be seen!
4 Make a joyful noise to the LORD, all the earth;
break forth into joyous song and sing praises!
5 Sing praises to the LORD with the lyre,
with the lyre and the sound of melody!
6 With trumpets and the sound of the horn
make a joyful noise before the King, the LORD! – O people stop chasing after that which cannot satisfy and start praising God with everything you can lay your hands upon!
7 Let the sea roar, and all that fills it;
the world and those who dwell in it!
8 Let the rivers clap their hands;
let the hills sing for joy together
9 before the LORD, for he comes
to judge the earth.
He will judge the world with righteousness,
and the peoples with equity. – Judgement is coming. Go to all the world by sea and river, high into the mountain pastures shouting, singing the new song!

Psalm 100: 1&2 – Make a joyful noise to the LORD, all the earth! Serve the LORD with gladness! Come into his presence with singing!

Prayer to be sung humbly by me. Join me in this singing as worship.

I heard about His healing, of His cleansing power revealingHow He made the lame to walk again and ’caused the blind to seeAnd then I cried, “Dear Jesus, come and heal my broken spirit”And somehow Jesus came and brought to me the victory
Victory in Jesus, my Savior foreverHe sought me and He bought me with His redeeming bloodHe loved me ‘ere I knew Him and all my love is due HimHe plunged me to victory beneath the cleansing flood, oh yeahSweet, sweet Jesus,
